There are a number of ways I may be able to assist the ministry of your local church. I would love to talk with you and, as much as I am able, serve you at my own expense to help you get connected with meaningful tools, resources, and relationships.
- Ethnos360 Representatives — I (Randy Smyth) or another representative could come:
- speak to your church,
- engage with your missions committee,
- advise potential missionaries, and
- empower people with information and resources.
We could focus on:
- Awareness — It is difficult to meet a need that one does not know about.
- One-third of the world’s 7 billion people have no access to the Gospel.
- One-third of the world’s 7,360 languages still have no access to the Gospel.
- Of those 7,360 languages, only 704 have a complete Bible. 1,551 have a complete New Testament.
- See PeopleGroups.org, Joshua Project, Perspectives, Radical, and Wayumi. (Numbers differ across sources, but all show great needs.)
- Vision — Why, Where, What, How. We could:
- share testimonies that show who and what is required to establish a thriving church — language, culture, Bible translation, and foundational Bible teaching;
- present stories of what God has been doing through ordinary people, in videos, magazines, and web pages; and
- teach, reinforcing what you have already been teaching about the Bible basis of missions.
- Present Resources for foundational Bible teaching to intentionally equip people for church planting.
- Opportunities
- Wayumi Retreats — intensive educational exposure toward establishing thriving churches across great cultural boundaries.
- Encounter — three weeks overseas of practical assistance.
- Interface — six weeks in Papua New Guinea learning from experienced missionaries.
- Internships — six months in Aviation, church-planting, or medical work in Papua New Guinea.
- Training
- Ethnos360 Bible Institutes — where Bible and missions are one. Study just the Bible for two years, online or in person.
- Ethnos360 Training — practical career missionary training, two years in Missouri.
- Sending — preparing your church for training, equipping, sending, supporting, and sustaining your missionaries to completion of establishing thriving churches where now there are none.
